Unlike SMB, players have full directional control, allowing for strategic positioning. However, many sequences involve high-speed chases, requiring precise timing and skillful execution. One particularly challenging section involves evading a pursuing machine while navigating a laser grid. This requires players to simultaneously jump and activate buttons in a specific sequence while maintaining forward momentum—a potentially daunting task.
