While many portable speakers are constructed from inexpensive materials and offer subpar audio quality, reflecting their price point.
The Creative iROAR Go, a portable outdoor speaker from Creative, delivers impressive audio that defies expectations. This compact speaker is a true powerhouse, exceeding the performance of many larger devices. Featuring two internal amplifiers, five integrated speakers with equalizer functionality, substantial output power, and a dedicated ROAR mode that enhances bass response and widens the soundstage, the iROAR Go is well-suited for any gathering. For hosting events, a 3.5mm jack enables microphone connectivity, allowing use as a PA system.
The iROAR Go supports Bluetooth audio streaming from computers or smartphones (with aptX support), and can also play MP3/FLAC files (uncompressed audio) via microSD card or USB drive (up to 32 GB). The speaker features a water-resistant design (protected against splashes and spills, but not suitable for submersion), an integrated subwoofer, and an aesthetically pleasing design recognized with a Red Dot Award. Consider experimenting with speaker placement indoors – positioning near the ceiling can create a more expansive, multi-speaker-like sound field. The speaker is a worthwhile investment at 1900 SEK.
